Expectations and Policies
Pre-Appointment Expectations:

Arrive to your appointment on time, well-rested, and sober. If the artist suspects that you are under the influence of any substance, the appointment may be canceled at the artist’s discretion.

Eat a hearty meal and make sure to hydrate prior to your appointment. Low blood sugar and dehydration while getting tattooed can be hazardous and may lead to dizziness, nausea, and even fainting. Dehydration can also affect how the tattoo heals afterward.

Please make sure to shower and arrive in the appropriate clothing so the area being tattooed will be easily accessible. It’s also courteous to shave any area being tattooed before the appointment, but your artist will have a razor on hand just in case!

Avoid getting sunburnt or changing your skin care routine for at least two weeks prior to your appointment. Your appointment may be subject to cancellation at the artist’s discretion if you arrive with any sort of skin ailment without prior discussion; including sunburns, cuts, scrapes, acne or rashes. It is both hazardous and painful to tattoo over these types of skin issues.

Please do not bring anyone under the age of sixteen, or a large group with you without prior discussion with your artist. Due to the limited space, only one guest is allowed with you.

Please do not use any numbing creams without discussing it with your artist prior to your appointment.

Reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell, have been exposed to COVID or have recently found out that you are pregnant.
Deposit and Design Policy:

The amount of your deposit will be determined by your artist.

All drawing/appointment fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Under no circumstances will you be refunded your deposit.

Your deposit will go towards the cost of the tattoo unless otherwise specified.

In the case of multiple sessions for a single tattoo, the deposit will go toward the cost of the final appointment.

You will be provided with a written receipt of your deposit.

The design will be shown to you the day of your appointment. If any adjustments need to be made, they will be done the day of*

The artist owns all rights to the artwork and they are not obligated to release a drawing. Under no circumstances will designs be shared online.

Any new ideas or additions post consultation regarding the design must be made at least 3 days prior to the appointment. Any new ideas or additions made the day of the appointment may be subject to a drawing fee**
*Note that ‘Adjustments’ here refers to minor changes to the design which involve the existing elements within the design detailed and agreed upon during the consultation.
**Note that a drawing fee is only applicable to new material being added at the last minute and not to minor alterations. ‘New Material’ is subject to the artist’s discretion and refers to anything outside of the design elements detailed and agreed upon during the consultation.
Reschedule/Cancellation/No-Show Policy

All cancellations/reschedules without 72 hours (3 days) notice to the scheduled appointment date will forfeit their deposit.

No-Call/No-shows also forfeit their deposit and may be declined any future service at the artist’s discretion.

All (re)scheduling must be done within 30 days of leaving a deposit or original appointment date. If an agreement hasn’t been made within 30 days of leaving the deposit or canceling your original appointment, your deposit will be forfeit.

Arriving more than 30 minutes late to an appointment will be considered a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeit.
